Mr. DeBari has served as lead counsel in products liability and wrongful death cases resulting in a worldwide recall of defective construction products and in establishing civil employer responsibility despite defenses of workers compensation immunity. He has also successfully defended state and municipal entities in similar civil and workers compensation cases.

Mr. DeBari has concentrated his professional trial practice in the areas of personal injury, insurance law, products liability and workers' compensation. After participating as an advocate in hundreds of mediations, Tom began shifting his practice toward dispute resolution in 2004 and to date, has successfully mediated cases in a wide variety of legal disciplines. Tom also maintains an active civil practice in order to stay on the cutting edge of the legal issues he encounters as a mediator and arbitrator. Mr. DeBari has also authored and lectured in the areas of automobile negligence, premises liability, mediation, professional ethics and workers compensation.
