Biography |
Scott M. Bage, born in San Antonio, Texas; admitted to bar, 1982, Texas; also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Western District of Texas. Owner - Scott M. Bage, P.C., remains an active litigator; however, mediates upon request and has conducted over 7,500 + civil mediations (excluding Pro Bono and Family Law cases) and over the last 15 years Mediation has constituted 40% of his practice. He is a somewhat frequent guest lecturer at St. Mary’s Law School in mediation and negotiations tactics. He contributed the “Zen of Mediation” to the Ten-Minute Mentor Program for The Texas State Bar as well as lectured at several other State Bar events. In particular, he authored a comprehensive mediation paper entitled “Tips for Successful Mediations” which he delivered in person at the 26th Annual Advanced Medical Torts; State Bar of Texas Seminar, March 21-22, 2019. Has acted as a Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem in Texas and Federal Court on over 750 cases. |
