Mr. Ahern was admitted to practice by the Arizona State Bar in 1977. He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell and for more than 25 years was  certified as a specialist in real estate law by the Arizona Board of Legal Specialization. He was also recognized in 2008, 2009, 2010 as a "Southwest Super Lawyer", in the field of mediation, and he has been recognized as one of Arizona's Finest Lawyers.  In 2011 he was inducted into the Arizona Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, and in 2012 was named one of Arizona's Top Rated Lawyers (Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration).  

During his 45 years of litigation, trial and transactional work, Mr. Ahern has handled a broad spectrum of business, corporate, partnership, commercial, employment, brokerage, licensing, fiduciary, and commercial tort litigation.  Mr. Ahern has extensive practice and mediation experience in complex multi-party cases involving corporate, partnership, LLC and other types of failed business relationship disputes, commercial and construction contract disputes, real estate transaction and development disputes, trust, estate and other fiduciary duties, legal, accounting, engineering, and other design professional malpractice cases, commercial torts, lending disputes, securities, and commercial and residential construction defects.

Mr. Ahern now dedicates his practice to mediations, arbitrations, discovery master appointments, neutral case evaluations,and consultation in his areas of experience and expertise.

Mr. Ahern has a highly evaluative mediation process which utilizes neutral evaluation and confidential pre-mediation caucuses to prepare for success at mediation.

Hourly for all prep., travel, pre-mediation caucuses and mediation time, plus expenses. $500 per hour (in Arizona); $600 per hour (out of state)
