Mediation as a tool to resolve disputes is limited only by the participants' ingenuity.    Allowing parties to escape the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" confines of a traditional jury verdict makes mediation a one-of-a-kind solution.

Brevard Mediation Services bills each matter on an hourly basis including costs for review, pre-conference discussions and post-conference follow-up, at the rate of $475.00 per hour. The mediation conference time fee is split on a pro rata basis between the parties, subject to the parties’ discretion. A minimum fee of $1425.00 applies to each matter and is billed if the mediation cancels without rescheduling less than 2 weeks in advance. Arbitrations are billed on an hourly basis at $500.00 per hour. A hearing day (8 hours, with a one-hour lunch break) is billed at $4000.00. A hearing day’s fee is charged for any scheduled arbitration cancelled without rescheduling less than 2 weeks in advance. Charges for fees incurred prior to cancellation will be assessed. Travel fees and costs apply to in-person proceedings scheduled outside of Brevard County, FL. Please contact Christina Magee to discuss if necessary.
