Biography |
Mr. Keay is an experienced mediator in Employment matters including
institutional clients, employment discrimination claims (ex. age, sex, gender,
sexual identity, national origin, disability, quid-pro-quo), conditions of
employment, hostile work environment, hazardous work environment claims, as
well as wage and hour disputes, overtime, sick leave and Collective Bargaining
Agreement claims; Commercial Law, including disputes among business
owners (partners, shareholders), commercial lenders, hospitals, physicians,
health care and healthcare administrators, lawyers, consumers, contractors,
subcontractors, homeowners, in addition to disputes involving real property,
including lease, purchase, boundary line, easements and recreational use issues;
Personal Injury ranging from catastrophic injury to claims arising from
professional negligence; Trusts, Estates, and Family Disputes, Mr. Keay has successfully mediated hundreds
of cases involving families in conflict. Disputes among family members – whether arising from a divorce
including support and child custody, or a death, including claims under Washington State's Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (TEDRA), or management of
an elderly parent’s care – can be the most difficult matters to resolve. Attorney and civic groups have frequently
invited Mr. Keay to speak on the subject of estate and family law mediation. |
