He is also a member of the American Trial Layers Association, Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, and the Minnesota Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is listed in American Research Corporation’s Law and Leading American Attorneys in three areas: personal injury, criminal defense, and family law. He has been listed as a “Super Lawyer†for several years. He has an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. He is presently on the Minnesota Court of Appeals Mediation Roster for Family Law Appellate cases subject to mandatory mediation. |

Biography |
Paul Thorwaldsen graduated from Moorhead State University in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science degree in education. In 1971, he received his Master’s Degree in education. In 1976, he graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He has been engaged in the practice of law for 37 years. As one of the firm’s trial lawyers, Paul handles plaintiff’s personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and business litigation.
Paul is trained as a civil and family law mediator and arbitrator. He has served as a mediator and as an arbitrator on several hundred cases. |
