Education	Judge Gafni is a graduate of Yeshiva University and Harvard Law School and also studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Biography	Abraham J. Gafni has been a Professor of Law at Villanova University since 1994 (and has been teaching in local law schools since 1974). Prior to that role, he was a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County for 18 years, the Court Administrator of Pennsylvania, Deputy District Attorney of Philadelphia, an attorney for the US Securities and Exchange Commission and in the private practice of law. Among other activities, he was the President and Chairman of the Arbitration Tribunal of the International Commission on Holocaust Era Insurance Claims from 2000-2007 and has lectured extensively for groups of lawyers and businesses, including in Israel, and at conferences of judges, government employees and law schools.
