Biography |
Perry's practice focuses on professional negligence (non-medical), personal injury, products liability, fire and explosion, insurance coverage and defense, insurance bad faith, and mediation.
Perry is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, is honored as a Kentucky Super Lawyer and recognized by Benchmark Litigation as a "Local Litigation Star" for his many legal accomplishments. When an explosion caused by a vendor's product destroyed his client's factory, he secured the client with a compensatory award of $122 million, the largest in state history. The verdict included damages for the destruction of the plant and lost profits. The jury also awarded $1.3 million dollars in punitive damages. As a result, Perry is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an achievement for trial lawyers who receive a trial verdict or settlement of one million dollars or more.
