Biography |
David H. Luce is a concentrating his practice in general civil litigation, including commercial, employment and real estate disputes. A seasoned trial attorney, Dave’s trial results include obtaining an $11 million jury verdict in an insurance matter, and favorable jury verdict in a racial discrimination case, a business tort/real estate case and in an action regarding violations of a noncompete agreement. Additionally, Dave has handled numerous mediations and arbitrations and a variety of trials involving quiet title actions, regulatory disputes and restrictive covenants.
In addition to the private practice of law, Dave was in-house counsel for ten years. First as a senior member of the in-house legal department at Koch Industries, Inc., the nation’s largest privately-held corporation, and then as Associate General Counsel responsible for managing all corporate litigation at Trans World Airlines. Dave brings his diverse 30-plus years of experience to managing and resolving complex issues on a wide range of subjects.
Dave was appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court as a member of the Regional Disciplinary Committee and was peer selected for inclusion in the 2017 edition of Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers® and in the 2018 edition for Best Lawyers in America® for employment law/management.
