Throughout his many years on the bench, Justice Weiner has been active in various judicial associations. The Judge was the past president of the New York State Surrogates Association and New York State Family Court Judges Association and a past trustee of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. Until recently, the Judge was a member of the New York State Association of Supreme Court Judges Executive Committee, representing the Supreme Court Judges in the Ninth Judicial District. |

Biography |
Justice Weiner was a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Ninth Judicial District, and served for more than 40 years on the bench. Prior to presiding as a Supreme Court Justice, he was Judge of the Surrogate’s Court of Rockland County, Judge of the Family Court of Rockland County, Supervising Judge of the Family Courts in the Ninth Judicial District and Town Justice of the Town of Ramapo.
The Judge has presided over hundreds of trials including many cases involving real estate, commercial litigation, contract, personal injury, labor law violations, medical malpractice, surrogate court litigation, and family and matrimonial law.
Justice Weiner now mediates and arbitrates for Resolute. |
