Bernie E. Reynolds graduated with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1987. From 1987 to 1989 he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Rodney S. Webb of the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota. Since October of 1989 he has been involved in the private practice of law. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in North Dakota and Minnesota as well as the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Reynolds has been board certified as a civil trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and has served as president of the Cass County, North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota Bar Associations. In the course of his career he has tried many cases to a jury verdict, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, and has handled numerous appeals.

In 1998, Mr. Reynolds completed a 30 credit Civil Mediation Training Course sponsored by the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Division of Continuing Legal Education. Since then he has served as a neutral mediator or arbitrator in a variety of civil matters, and as a court appointed commissioner in condemnation disputes. He has also acted as an advocate for parties in many such Alternative Dispute Resolution proceedings.
