Mr. Bayer specializes in environmental law, trial practice and estate planning. His clients include local governments, small business owners, neighborhood associations, and individuals. His trial practice emphasizes litigation of environmental, civil rights, land use, probate, real estate and criminal defense cases. He also works with clients facing foreclosure and debt collection claims.

In his fifteen years of mediation practice, he has handled a variety of cases including land use, regulatory takings, real estate, probate, commercial disputes and personal injury. Mr. Bayer has previously been awarded the water conservationist of the year by the Florida Wildlife Federation. He also assisted with obtaining Outstanding Florida Water designate for the Tomoka River, Spruce Creek, and Lake Disstion. His work on environmental lands has assisted with over 5000 acres of land being conserved in Florida. He has been published in Trial Magazine in an article on joint and several liabilities in toxic tort litigation.
