Randy graduated from Hofstra University in 1974 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, and receiving departmental high honors in American Studies. Following graduation, Randy entered the business sector for several years gaining extensive experience in the intricacies of corporate operations and retail management. He returned to law school and earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University |
Biography |
Randy R. Freedman, Esq. is an “AV†rated attorney who has handled securities cases at both the state and federal levels for over 25 years. He has represented clients through the NASD arbitration process and tried cases before various arbitration panels on behalf of both claimants and respondents, frequently involving sophisticated trading strategies and complex legal issues. Randy has also served as the chairperson of more than fifty arbitration panels for the NASD, covering all types of disputes and a broad range of issues, including violation of the Florida Securities and Investor Protection Act, churning, fraud, unauthorized trading, breach of contract, wrongful termination and libel, D.K.’s, risk of loss, transfer issues, unfair competition and raiding. In addition to his experiences litigating securities cases, Randy also has extensive experience litigating business and real estate disputes. He has represented numerous corporations and professionals on issues including non compete agreements, real estate claims (including title and boundary disputes), breach of sale and purchase agreements, employment disputes (including FLSA claims) and an array of business torts. Randy has also been appointed to serve as a receiver and as an attorney ad litem and administrator ad litem on real estate matters. This background is invaluable to Randy when he mediates, giving him the ability to grasp complex legal issues and defuse difficult situations. |
