Education |
After earning both a bachelor and master degree from the Rice Institute and the University of Oklahoma in geological engineering and engineering sciences, respectively, Judge Reiter turned to the field of law. Judge Reiter earned his juris doctorate from the University of Houston in 1969. |

Biography |
Emerging from a background in geology, for more than 20 years Judge Reiter has carved for himself a reputation as a proficient, versatile, and respectful district court judge. His ten years’ experience as a general practitioner was the solid foundation he needed once elected to the 77th District Court in 1978. While serving the people of Limestone and Freestone Counties, Judge Reiter presided over hundreds of civil, criminal, family, and probate matters.
Since his appointment as a visiting judge in 1989, Judge Reiter has continued his distinguished service to the bench as well as to the private sector in his capacity as a successful mediator. |
