Hon. Joseph N. Casciato, (Ret.) is a skilled mediator and settlement judge, known for his creative settlements in resolving complex matters. Judge Casciato has extensive experience in adjudicating or settling some of the most noteworthy and far-reaching civil lawsuits in the areas of negligence, constitutional law, medical malpractice, products liability, business/commercial and coverage disputes. He has successfully pre-tried, mediated or arbitrated over 2,000+ cases 22-year judicial career, serving under 3 chief judges, Circuit Court of Cook County; Served in Law Jury and for 12 years presided over Motion Call D of the Law Division involving litigation of tort, contract, UCC and jurisdictional issues 10+ year legal career: Associate, William J.
