Dayna Jahnke Corwin graduated from Lewis and Clark College of Law in 1992. She has been a trial lawyer for more than 19 years. Her practice centers around representing clients in a wide range of litigation matters with an emphasis on tort claims, including business torts, catastrophic injuries invoking the Employer’s Liability Act and product liability actions that have resulted in multi-million dollar settlements.

Dayna’s emphasis is on challenging the status quo and pursuing negotiations at each stage of litigation, but being willing to take a case as far as necessary to achieve a just result. She has developed the underlying briefs and tried cases that were later published opinions successfully challenging the exclusivity provision of workers compensation law under Article 1, Section 10 of the Oregon Constitution and the Oregon Statute of Ultimate Repose for products more than ten years old. She has successfully litigated and settled numerous third-party claims under the Employer’s Liability Act, Statutory Tort, Breach of Warranty and Breach of Implied Warranty as well as litigating dangerous design and manufacturing defect cases.

Dayna was a recent guest lecturer at University of Washington regarding intellectual property issues and also lectured on “Rights of Publicity” at Seattle University School of Law. She has traveled to Vietnam, Cambodia and Russia as a professional Ambassador, promoting Rule of Law in those countries. She has numerous corresponding published articles relating to the Nature of Law and Court Systems. Dayna is a board member of McCoy Group, Inc and Metro Arts, Inc., whose mission is teaching for creativity.
