Education |
Judge Quackenboss graduated from Rutgers University in 1953 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. After serving two years in the United States Army, he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 1958. While at the School of Law, he was an Associate Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. |

Biography |
Serving on the bench for more than 21 years, Judge Quackenboss retired in 1997 as Superior Court Judge. He was assigned exclusively to the Civil Part during his 22 years as a Judge, serving as the Presiding Judge of Civil in Middlesex County for a time and, later, as the Presiding Judge of Chancery. Since his retirement from the Superior Court bench, he has served as a mediator and arbitrator. He frequently serves in those capacities by Court appointment as well as a Court appointed Master pursuant to Rule 4:41. |
