Biography |
Since 2000, Chad has engaged in an active litigation practice in state and federal courts in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee. Prior to beginning his litigation practice, Chad completed a two (2) year clerkship with the Honorable Mary Libby Payne (ret.), a charter member of the Court of Appeals of Mississippi. Chad’s experience includes service as an arbitrator and mediator as well as representation of clients in criminal law matters, wills and probate matters, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, premises liability, family law, workers’ compensation, and business transactions. Chad is a public arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and is a certified mediator in the State of Mississippi. He also recently was named a 2011 Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine for his experience and expertise in workers’ compensation.
Chad founded Shook Law Firm & Dispute Resolution Services, PLLC on July 1, 2010 after practicing with a regional civil litigation. |
