Education |
Roland E. Williams, Jr. attended Stetson University and graduated in 1963 and then attended Stetson University College of Law and received his J.D. in 1966 and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1966. |

Biography |
He has been a Certified Mediator in all Circuit Courts of Florida since 1992. He is a member of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and previously served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Charles R. Scott. He is rated with Martindale-Hubble at A-V.
During his private practice of law, he specialized in all forms of trial work representing Plaintiffs and Defendants. He specialized in all forms of negligence work including automobile accidents, premise accidents, medical malpractice for Doctors, Nurses and Hospitals, FELA litigation, insurance law, and bad faith litigation. In addition, he also held a private pilot's license and a 100 ton maritime license with a towing endorsement. He also has taught Business Law at Jacksonville University, as well as the torts and negligence portion of the paralegal training course at Florida State College in Jacksonville. He has been a guest speaker and lecturer at various mediation training programs to include the Mediation training at Florida Coastal School of Law.
