Biography |
Practicing attorney in the state of Michigan since 1976. Representation of both management and individual employees in the state of Michigan civil service grievance system. Teaching experience as adjunct professor of law at Thomas Cooley law school in Lansing, Michigan from 1978 to 1980. Professor and course facilitator for graduate students in the University of Phoenix graduate school of business from 2003 to 2009. Professional arbitrator and mediator. Member of arbitration panels (neutrals) for American Arbitration Association (CAP, commercial, and employment law panels); Resolute Systems; FINRA/NASD (public arbitration member); the National Arbitration Forum; and the state of Michigan Employment Relations Commission (MERC) grievance arbitration panels and Act 312 fact finding panels.
Certified court mediator in the state of Michigan, serving on mediation rosters or panels in several circuit and district court locations in the state of Michigan. Volunteer mediator for the Dispute Resolution Center of Central Michigan located in Lansing, Michigan on an ad hoc basis mediating a number of disputes referred by the local district courts, or self referred by parties seeking mediation directly with the center. |
