John H. Musser IV has practiced law in Louisiana and Mississippi for over thirty-five years in the field of litigation. He has tried numerous cases to verdict, both judge and jury, in the fields of automobile, admiralty, products liability, premises liability, professional liability and general casualty.

He has worked at the firms of Montgomery, Barnett, Brown & Read, The Law Office of Francis Emmett, and at Longenecker & Musser. He also served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana and was the first Managing Trial Attorney for CNA Insurance Company in Louisiana.

He continues his active general litigation practice. As a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, he served for many years as a member of the House of Delegates, chaired the Advertising Committee, and currently serves on the Ethics Committee. He also has been a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of both Louisiana and Mississippi Bar Associations. He has been a member of the Federal and New Orleans Bar Associations, and a Proctor in the Maritime Law Association for over twenty years. Mr. Musser holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Musser received his mediation training at the Basic Mediation Training Seminar in Dallas in 1994.
