Justice Boehm received his undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1960, summa cum laude, and graduated magna cum laude in 1963 from Harvard Law School. |

Biography |
Justice Boehm was appointed as a Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court on August 7, 1996 and retired from the Court on September 30, 2010. He is the author of more majority opinions of the court than any other Justice during that period. His opinions addressed a wide range of matters including corporate governance, shareholder rights, fiduciary duties, insurance coverage, securities and antitrust issues and noncompetition agreements.
As a private lawyer, in-house counsel, and managing partner of a major Indiana law firm Justice Boehm participated in the negotiated settlement of a large number of complex business disputes. He also had extensive experience in negotiating substantial transactions including business acquisitions and dispositions, real estate transactions and a variety of commercial agreements. |
