Biography |
Bruce focuses his practice on Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is a "qualified neutral" under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for the District Courts. He tried over 100 cases to conclusion in Federal and State courts. These cases include personal injury representing both plaintiffs and defendants, product liability, construction, professional liability representing many health care specialist as well as major case subrogation. Prior to practicing exclusively civil litigation, Bruce has tried to conclusion criminal jury trials in state and federal courts.
Bruce has taught dispute resolution as an Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota where he has been employed part time since 1997. He also teaches trial skills and appellate advocacy.
Prior to opening his current practice, he was the managing attorney for Candlin, Faulkner and Sjostrom and chair of the civil litigation group. He later became managing attorney for the St. Paul Companies Minnesota staff attorney office and after the merger manager and practice group leader of the Minnesota Travelers Companies civil litigation staff attorney office. |
