Mr. Rowen concentrates his mediation/arbitration practice on the resolution of complex commercial, business, real estate, construction and non-medical professional malpractice.
Mr. Rowen has litigated disputes on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants for over 28 years. He has represented both foreign and domestic corporations in both federal and state courts. He has assisted clients in acquisitions throughout the United States and litigated numerous business and real estate related disputes. His clients have included insurance companies, construction companies, commercial and residential developers, credit unions, banks, manufacturers, as well as executives facing civil federal regulatory charges. He has acted as the outside general counsel for a regional construction company (offices in 6 states) and a rapidly expanding regional restaurant chain (over 65 restaurants in 3 states).
Mr. Rowen also brings the unique perspective to business disputes that only a business owner can have. Mr. Rowen has owned a mortgage company, a chain of gas stations, a property management and realty company, a trucking company that specialized in hazardous loads such as gasoline, aviation fuel, jet fuel and home heating fuel. He owns a manufacturing company that designs, engineers and manufactures specialty products for domestic and international placement. He has experience with foreign sourcing of products. |
