Biography |
Judge Bolgert retired from the bench after a distinguished 22-year career as a jurist in July of 2016 to focus on mediation and arbitration. Prior to that, his law practice included family law, criminal law, civil litigation and probate. As a mediator, Judge Bolgert combines the facilitative and evaluative models, adding value to the mediation process and helping the parties work toward settlement. His primary mediation focus is on civil litigation, such as personal injury, real estate, business disputes and commercial matters, as well as family matters including probate, divorce, child custody and disputes arising out of divorce settlement agreements. He completed the 40-hour Divorce and Family Mediation Training sponsored by the University of Wisconsin Continuing Studies in Madison in October 2016, and the Arbitration Fundamentals and Best Practices Training for New AAA Arbitrators in Chicago in 2018.
Judge Bolgert is available for mediations and arbitrations in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Washington, Ozaukee, Outagamie, Brown, Milwaukee and Waukesha counties. He routinely travels to attorneys' offices for mediations, as well as hosts mediations in Sheboygan across from the court house. |
