Biography |
Mr. Van Til has been a mediator and arbitrator for over 20 years. He has mediated or arbitrated several thousand cases in the areas of personal injury, property damage, employment, partnership dissolution, commercial contracts and construction defect. As a private mediator/arbitrator and a long-standing member of the Superior Court Arbitration and Mediation Panels, Mr. Van Til has been widely accepted by both the plaintiff and the defense bars.
Mr. Van Til has substantial experience in cases involving many levels of complexity including Personal Injury, Insurance Bad Faith, Medical Malpractice, Employment, Intellectual Property, Partnership Dissolution, Commercial Contracts, Real Estate, Construction, and Workers’Compensation. Mr. Van Til practiced law for 30 years representing primarily plaintiffs. He has been involved as a principal in the development of several retail businesses and real estate developments. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Van Til was a senior claims representative with a major insurance carrier. Mr. Van Til worked for JAMS from 1995 to 2005 as an arbitrator and mediator. |
