Judge Ramirez retired from a Federal District Court Judgeship in the Eastern district of California, following 13 years on the bench which included service on the Municipal and Superior Courts. He returned to the practice of law, although he began to specialize in dispute resolution with a primary focus on the mediation/settlement of complex business/commercial litigation, employment (wrongful termination, sex, race, age, handicap discrimination) and insurance coverage disputes. 

As a Mediator and Arbitrator, Judge Ramirez is known as an exceptionally professional and knowledgeable neutral. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to mediate even the most complex mass tort matters and is known to explore all the legal, business and personal ramifications of each dispute.
