Biography |
Mr. Susak began practicing law in Portland, Oregon in 1970. He practiced in Portland until 2013 when he officially retired and continued to devote time to a mediation and arbitration practice. As a practicing lawyer, Mr. Susak represented parties in various civil matters, but was involved primarily in the field of personal injury litigation. While working his way through law school in the mid-60s, Mr. Susak worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, first as an adjuster and then a claim supervisor, overseeing a large area of Pacific Northwest businesses and workers’ compensation issues. This gave him an immediate specialty in the practice of law and in addition to handling workers’ compensation issues for both workers and employers, he was able to grow a large personal injury practice. During the 90s, various lawyers in Portland convinced Mr. Susak to help them resolve their disputes by way of arbitration and/or mediation and he has done that to this day. |
