Biography |
Judge Philip T. Caroom (Ret.) works as a recalled judge and, schedule permitting, as a private mediator, neutral evaluator, and arbitrator with concentration in the areas of Family Law, Real Estate and Business Matters. Before appointment as a Master in Chancery in 1991 and as Circuit Court Judge in 1998, Judge Caroom maintained a wide-ranging general practice for 14 years with clients including real estate developers, builders, landlords, family law litigants, and personal injury plaintiffs. Between 1981 and 1989, he also served as a senior prosecutor and Training Director for the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office, with assignments including white collar crime, child abuse, sex offenses, and homicides. |
