Ben Hanchey received his BS degree from Louisiana Tech University in 1967 and his JD from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1970. |

Biography |
After receiving his JD, Mr. Hanchey entered into practice with Hudson, Potts & Bernstein until his retirement in 2001. He was also a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana. His cases have included products liability, mass disaster class actions, auto personal injury, medical malpractice, education law, municipal and police liability.
Mr. Hanchey’s mediation experience includes numerous multi-party cases including personal injury, agricultural disputes, construction litigation, sexual harassment, public work contracts, business litigation and medical malpractice. He is also admitted to practice in all state courts as well as the United States Supreme Court, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal and the Louisiana Supreme Court.
