Biography |
Judge Gardner is a former Washington County Circuit Court judge who retired in 2010 to focus on mediation and arbitration. Judge Gardner was the head of the civil litigation department for the Washington County Circuit Court. After serving in the Oregon House of Representatives, he was appointed to the District Court bench and established one of the first court-annexed mediation programs for cases in Oregon. In 1992, Judge Gardner was appointed to the Circuit Court bench until he became Special Counsel to the Oregon Attorney General Hardy Myers. As Special Counsel, he was lead counsel for the state’s tobacco litigation. |
