Biography |
Judge Jordan was appointed to the King County Superior Court in 1991 and served until July 2001. Before taking the bench, he served from 1975-1991 as a Commissioner of Division I of the Washington State Court of Appeals. He was law clerk to the Honorable Jerome Farris and the Honorable Keith M. Callow, and also served as an Assistant Public Defender for the State of Alaska.
Since 2001, Judge Jordan has conducted over 1000 mediations and arbitrations. He was a judge on the toxic torts panel, and specialized in settling asbestos cases. As an Appellate Court Commissioner, he conducted over 1,000 settlement conferences for civil cases on appeal. Among his publications is “The Calculus of Settlement,†Washington State Bar News (June 1981). |
