Van Robichaux is a practicing attorney in the greater New Orleans area, concentrating since 1975 in litigation at both the state and federal levels. Mr. Robichaux received his mediation training from the American Arbitration Association and the Attorney-Mediator Institute, and is qualified to mediate under the CDC Pilot Mediation Program.

He has participated in mediations both as an advocate and as a mediator. Mr. Robichaux is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Colorado and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Robichaux belongs to numerous organizations, including the Louisiana Bar Association: Ethics Committee, Pro Bono Committee, and Community Action Committee; The Louisiana Association for Justice, New Orleans Bar Association, the 34th Judicial Bar Association (Past Secretary), Board of Directors for the Times-Picayune Doll & Toy Fund, Kiwanis Club, and Boy Scouts of America (Past Cub Master).
