Biography

Kenneth E. Milam was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1969. His experience includes: Lead Counsel for multiple public school districts in Mississippi, during the state’s only teachers strike; Lead Counsel for the American Truckers Association’s constitutional challenge to constitutionality of ERISA restriction for multi-employer pension plans and Lead Counsel in successfully defeating an extension of liability to individual managers and supervisors under Mississippi’s at-will employment law. Kenneth has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for the past 20 years and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service to our country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Army in Vietnam.

Completed over 75 hours of basic and advanced mediator training through Harvard University Law School, CPR, and American Arbitration Association. Mediated over 50 cases, many of which involved non-labor and employment matters. Member of the Mississippi Supreme Court Court-Annexed Mediation Committee responsible for the implementation of the Mississippi Court-Annexed Mediation Program for state courts.
