Biography |
Lawrence A. Schwartz practiced law for 12 years before becoming a Miami- Dade County Court Judge in 1991. In 1997, Governor Lawton Chiles elevated him to the Circuit Court. He served on the bench of the 11th Judicial Circuit for 22 years. He presided over cases in the civil, criminal and probate divisions. His Mediation Specialties include matters involving commercial litigation, probate and guardianship, foreclosure, personal injury, malpractice, employment discrimination, business and corporate law. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Schwartz taught sixth grade for the Miami-Dade County School Board at Lake Stevens Elementary School, located in Carol City, Florida. |
