Mr. Anderson received is B.S. Degree from the College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1972 and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1975. |

Biography |
As a trial lawyer for over twenty-eight years in both state and federal court, Mr. Anderson has extensive experience handling litigation, and has specialized in the area of medical malpractice defense. Mr. Anderson’s abilities as a trial lawyer have been recognized by his peers by being chosen as a Master of the Bench of the American Inns of Court. For many years he has served as a hearing officer for the City of Knoxville Civil Service Merit Board, Knoxville Beer Board, Baptist Hospital and other organizations. Mr. Anderson has also taken a prominent role in the growing area of alternative dispute resolution and now specializes in mediation and arbitration. He is a member of the sections of Dispute Resolution of the American, Tennessee and Knoxville Bar Associations. He is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 approved mediator for both general civil and family law mediations and is a mediator on the Federal Court Mediation Panel. He has served as the neutral in over five hundred mediations and arbitrations, including personal injury, professional liability, employment, discrimination and commercial disputes. |
