Biography |
Mr. Sneed has maintained an active law practice since 1976 involving the representation of Plaintiffs and Defendants in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability. Mr. Sneed was certified as a Mediator by United States Arbitration and Mediation in 1988. In addition to lecturing on the subject of mediation and arbitration, he has also served as an Arbitrator or Mediator for over two thousand disputes in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, construction negligence, engineering negligence, architectural negligence, worker's compensation and commercial law. Significant mediation cases include complex medical malpractice and product liability litigation and litigation involving multiple parties.
Mr. Sneed has served as Special Chancery Judge and Special Circuit Judge in Hinds County. He has served as Special Master in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Mississippi; the Circuit Court of Copiah County, Mississippi; and the Circuit Court of Lowndes County, Mississippi; and is currently serving as the Special Master in the Chancery Court of Rankin County, Mississippi. Mr. Sneed is currently serving as a member of the Board of Commissioners for the Mississippi Bar Association. Mr. Sneed is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Mississippi Bar. Mr. Sneed is admitted to practice law in all State Courts in Mississippi; U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi; U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, Fifth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit; United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the American, Mississippi and Hinds County Bar Associations; International Academy of Mediators; Association of Attorney Mediators; American Board of Trial Advocates and National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. |
