Biography |
Donald Fischer has more than thirty years of experience in small business, employment, insurance, construction and real property. He mediates in these arenas as well as contract, collections, auto lemon law, elder abuse prevention, probate, family, victim/offender reconciliation (VORP), and personal injury. He is a trained EEOC mediator.
Additionally, Donald arbitrates construction disputes. Donald serves on the State Bar of California Litigation Section Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, participates with the Fresno Superior Court ADR Oversight Committee and is a Board Member (2010-2013) on the California Dispute Resolution Council (CDRD). He sits on the Board of Directors for the Association for Conflict Resolution – Central California Chapter, served as Chapter President (2007-2008) and assisted with multiple annual chapter conferences. Donald is a University of California, Berkeley, graduate with a degree in the art and science of Rhetoric. He was a member of Rotary International for 23 years serving as Club President twice, District Representative for the Governor, and International Youth Exchange Chairperson. He served twelve years as a Director of the Lumber Association of California, Nevada and Hawaii, and eight years as a trustee for the Association’s Insurance Trust.
Donald currently serves as the Vocational Education Chairman for the Firebaugh-Las Deltas School District and a Board Member on the Firebaugh Community Coalition. |
