As a mediator, Amy’s philosophy is to work with the parties and their counsel to focus the parties on identifying the options for and the benefits of resolution. Further, she believes that the lawyers representing the parties know the law particular to each case and views her role as helping parties use that knowledge to reach the most beneficial and efficient resolution. As an arbitrator, Amy carefully weighs all relevant evidence and testimony, within the parameters agreed upon by the parties, to arrive at a well-thought out opinion as to the most appropriate resolution of the conflict.
