Biography |
Hon. Lisa S. Van Amburg was admitted to the Bar, State of Missouri in 1975. Formerly, Lisa was admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Within this role from 2003 to 2012, Lisa was active in fostering community programs that focus on restorative justice, aiding non-violent offenders to meet their responsibilities to the victims of crime as well as succeed in the community upon re-entry from the criminal justice system. Prior to this role, Lisa was a founding partner and chief litigation counsel in a number of jury trials in both state and federal courts with Van Amburg, Chackes, Carlson and Spritzer from 1996-2003. Lisa is currently a Professor of Practice at St. Louis University School of Law. |
