William P. Volk, Esq. has had a distinguished reputation in construction defect litigation and as a trial attorney for nearly three decades. Bill has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in nearly every type of civil litigation, including claims involving construction defects, firearms, drugs/supplements, class actions, multi-district litigation, mass torts, personal injury/wrongful death, casino/hotel/nightclub/residential security, assault and battery, breach of contract, professional malpractice, insurance coverage, defective medical device and employment/wrongful termination.
As a result of his trial experience and reputation, Bill was nominated by his peers in 2003 as an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates (“ABOTAâ€), an honor awarded only to those considered among the tope trail attorneys in the country. Bill has also demonstrated trial advocacy techniques in ABOTA’s prestigious “Masters in Trial†program, which is designed to instruct other trial attorneys. He is rate “AV® Preeminent™†by the attorney rating firm of Martindale-Hubbell, indicating that his fellow attorneys consider him to possess the highest legal ability and ethical standards.
Bill has been a senior litigation partner in two major California civil litigation law firms: Lorber, Volk & Greenfield (1983 – 1996) and Campbell, Volk & Lauter (1996 – 2009). He opened the Las Vegas office of Campbell Volk in 1996 and relocated to his adopted home of Las Vegas in 2003. With the encouragement of members of the Nevada judiciary and his colleagues, Bill decided to begin handling more mediations and arbitrations as part of his legal practice in 2009. |
