Gail P. Granoff has served as a mediator and arbitrator in areas such as personal injury, employment, property damage, real estate, contracts and business matters. Ms. Granoff is an attorney with an extensive background in business law, corporate law and litigation. She is an innovative leader and negotiator who inspires outstanding performance and achieves practical solutions to complex issues.
Previously she was the Chief Compliance and Governance Officer and Assistant General Counsel for Rohm and Haas Company, a Fortune 500 multinational chemical company, where she was responsible for a wide range of matters including counseling the Board of Directors and senior management; designing, implementing and administering the company’s global compliance program; negotiating business and finance transactions; providing securities law advice; and helping to establish the risk management profile of the company. She was also lead counsel to the company’s largest business and has served on and led multi-disciplinary teams.
Ms. Granoff was also a litigation attorney at the law firm Pepper Hamilton LLP and a law clerk for the Honorable Harry E. Kalodner, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She serves as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and Commerce Court, assisting the court and the parties in resolving pending disputes. Ms. Granoff is a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Audit Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. She is also a frequent teacher and speaker on compliance and governance topics for groups such as the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.
