Dan Hurley served as an officer and trial lawyer with the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps before joining the New Orleans Legal Department, Texaco Inc, where he held several staff positions as a regional counsel, and subsequently was an assistant to the General Counsel / Senior Vice President at its New York corporate headquarters.. Mr Hurley also served as Assistant Secretary of Bay Drilling Corporation and Bridgeline Gas Distribution Company, provided legal services to TEPCO, The Texas Pipeline Company, Texaco Refining and Marketing Inc and Star Enterprise, and was active with the Louisiana and Florida Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Associations' legal subcommittees before retiring from Texaco as General Attorney.
Mr Hurley's ADR.experience is in natural resources law and transactional dispute resolutions , and other legal matters, including corporate , construction contract, real estate and eminent domain, rights of way, tort and maritime, insurance, and PMPA issues. He graduated from Tulane University and its School of Law where Mr Hurley was a member of the Moot Court Board, completed mediation skills training with the American Arbitration Association, and served on the AAA Mediator Panel- LDI Louisiana Hurricane Program. Hurley is certified as a mediator on LSBA- Civil Mediator Registry, listed in Martindale-Hubbell's "Top Lawyers 2009", and a member of the National Association For Conflict Resolution and as a public arbitrator for FINRA. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana and before Federal Courts, including the United States Supreme Court. |
