Biography |
Judge Cox has been mediating cases since January 1,1993. Since that time, Judge Cox has successfully mediated thousands of civil matters including personal injury, construction, employment, domestic relations and contract disputes. He practices in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky, and is a member of Resolute Systems Panel of Distinguished Neutrals in those states. Judge Cox has conducted several private civil trials in Ohio and conducted the first private civil jury trial in 1993. He routinely hears private cases in many Ohio counties. During his judicial career, Judge Cox heard cases in 25 Ohio counties and conducted over 100 civil jury trials. He also wrote several opinions while serving by special assignment in two Ohio appellate districts. While on the bench, he conducted the first public utility serve trial in the state and the firs summary jury trial in Columbus, Ohio. Judge Cox also presided over an extensive construction trial in the Ohio Court of Claims. |
