John M. Colosimo was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1972, and the North Dakota Bar in 1982. He graduated from Bemidji State University in 1964, and spent several years as a high school teacher before going on to law school. He graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 1972. |

John Colosimo is one of the most accomplished and highly qualified civil litigators in Northeast Minnesota.
He is an MSBA Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist, an advanced specialty designation awarded by the Civil Trial Certification Board of the Minnesota State Bar Association; a Certified Civil Trial Advocate, demonstrating an enhanced level of skill and expertise in trial advocacy as determined by the National Board of Trial Advocacy; and a No-Fault Arbitrator certified by the American Arbitration Association.
Mr. Colosimo is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by Minnesota Lawyer as a “Super Lawyer†— a designation reserved for just 5% of lawyers in the state — in the areas of insurance defense, personal injury and employment litigation, and public school law. |
