Biography

I have tried over 60 cases to jury verdict and a similar number to judgment by the court in my 36 years of practice. For 25 years I was panel counsel for Travelers Insurance and Liberty Mutual and tried many auto cases in that capacity.

I have also developed a mediation practice and, since 1998, have mediated over 250 cases involving disputes of all kinds, including personal injury, employment disputes, contract, construction and product liability issues. I have also participated as a mediator in “settlement” days where for State Farm, involving the mediation of several cases in one day.

I am also on the list of approved mediators maintained by the Circuit Court of Jackson County and by the federal courts in Kansas and Missouri.
