In her twenty years on the Court,Judge Collins has settled scores of high stakes matters involving contract and commercial lease disputes, insurance coverage, personal injury, medical malpractice, entertainment law, IP, partnership dissolutions, mold infestation, wrongful termination, and homeowner association disputes.

She has also presided over sophisticated business disputes between national and multinational organizations, matters involving high-profile parties, as well as complex asbestos litigation. Her court assignments included master calendar where she resolved approximately thirty civil motions a day; an independent general civil calendar where she presided over a wide range of all aspects of civil litigation including ex parte matters, motions, trials and settlement conferences; and long cause civil matters at Central Civil West.

Her criminal assignments included preliminary hearings, an independent criminal trial calendar and a long cause high security criminal trial calendar. Judge Collins served as the Supervising Judge of the Metropolitan Courthouse and Assistant Supervising Judge of the West District, was elected to the Superior Court Executive Committee, and was also appointed to serve on various Superior Court committees, including the ADR Committee, the Bail Bond Committee, the Technology Committee and the Bench and Bar Committee. She also served for three months as a Judge pro tem on the Court of Appeals.
