Biography |
Mr. Hoar focuses on Appellate and Complex Motions Practice,with broad experience in environmental and toxic tort, product liability, insurance coverage and general complex litigation matters. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in state and federal courts in Vermont, New Hampshire, and northern New York, and has argued appeals before the Vermont Supreme Court, the New Hampshire Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a regular lecturer and moderator for the Vermont Bar Association on a variety of litigation and trial practice subjects. He has also served as a member of the Vermont Supreme Court Civil Rules Advisory Committee and its Jury Policy Committee. He was the founding Chair (in which capacity he continues to serve) of the Vermont Bar Association’s Roundtable on the Profession. |
