Mark J. Divelbiss graduated from Santa Clara University in 1986 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics with emphasis in Mathematics. In 1989, Mr. Divelbiss received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Francisco upon graduating Cum Laude. |

Biography |
As a trial attorney, Mr. Divelbiss represents individuals and companies in employment, business and real estate disputes. His practice also encompasses construction defect litigation, insurance coverage disputes and personal injury matters. In addition, he has significant experience in appellate work, including arguing several cases before the California Courts of Appeal in personal injury matters and complex property tax claims.
From 1994 through 2002, Mr. Divelbiss was managing partner for eight years in an AV-rated law firm in San Francisco and Oakland that emphasized a wide array of litigation matters as well as commercial lease review and appellate work. Mr. Divelbiss continues to receive an AV rating from his peers in the legal community.
Mr. Divelbiss is also a certified litigation mediator with extensive mediation training. He speaks at mediation training seminars and has conducted over 100 different mediations and settlement conferences. Mr. Divelbiss’ articles on mediations include Mediation Is Not as Confidential or as Voluntary as Attorneys Might Think, (San Francisco Daily Journal, April 15, 2002). |
