Biography |
Dan Brookhart is a full time mediator and arbitrator. His practice covers a wide array of civil litigation matters across the state of Pennsylvania, including all areas of personal injury litigation, professional negligence matters, business/commercial litigation, insurance matters, employment disputes as well as a variety of complex civil cases. He has received extensive mediation training on multiple occasions at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.
Prior to establishing a full time mediation practice, Mr. Brookhart maintained an active trial and litigation practice in the above areas of law. Specifically, he has significant experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation which brings a balanced perspective, understanding of positions and great familiarity of the process to the mediation table.
He is a frequent speaker and author on mediation and alternative dispute resolution for state and local bar associations. In addition, Mr. Brookhart is an adjunct professor in mediation at the Widener University School of Law and has provided mediation training for the Office of General Counsel for the state of Pennsylvania. |
